Medium: sharpies, acrylic on a mirror

This artwork, created in a mirror, is the first of a series I'm developing. I strongly believe in honoring our ancestors and drawing wisdom from their experiences. In this particular piece, I aimed to portray a woman in a dignified manner. The varying shades of red are intended to evoke the infinite reflections one sees when gazing into a mirror. I've long envisioned painting this image within a mirror to convey the idea of seeing oneself as a work of art.
