I had an amazing time creating my very first outdoor mural at Yoma Cincinnati. Having previously worked with Yoma on an interior mural, it was an absolute honor to work with this fantastic establishment once again.
I must admit, I was a little nervous about my first outdoor mural, and the unpredictable weather did not help. However, I learned valuable lessons about how paint interacts with brick textures, the importance of properly prepping the surface for painting, and using high-quality, weather-resistant materials to protect the artwork. The owner's trust in giving me creative freedom was truly appreciated, making the experience even more enjoyable.
My first project with Yoma led to exciting opportunities for my art to be commissioned by restaurants, barbershops, and television shows, and I am thrilled that my latest project can be enjoyed by everyone while contributing to the aesthetic of the neighborhood.
I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing the community taking pictures next to my outdoor Sharpism mural. If you happen to be in Cincinnati, feel free to stop by, check it out, and tag me in your photos!
